Getting ready for this gathering that he's dreading. But when the Princess of Bludhaven shows up it and throws his whole life upside down.

They all have their own reasons. Nothing is accidental.; It all escalates pretty quickly. As my own patience is thin. :)
What We Deserve by SevenxthexSins (Barry Allen/Oliver, 6/6, 2021-08-29) - Barry Allen got a call from his good buddy Oliver Queen, but whining about his life and his 'darkness' leads to a desire to pick on Barry a bit. When Oliver can't get Barry to take off his shirt and show off these supposed abs he has, Oliver takes his shirt off to make Barry more comfortable. It doesn't, but not for the reason Oliver thinks. The Barry/Oliver we could have had in the show if they weren't such cowards.

The point of divergence occurs during The Flash 2x18 episode ""Versus Zoom"" when the Tachyon prototype sends Barry Allen/The Flash to the Smallville universe instead of Supergirl's Earth. An Arrowverse/Smallville crossover.
